Learn about the special journey marine turtles and people have taken together before heading off to explore the park and beach. Please be aware the center does not display any captive, live turtles.

Daytime opening hours:  9 am to 2 pm, 7 days a week (closed 25 December and 25 April). Milbi Café and gift shop is open 9am to 2pm.

Daytime access to the Turtle Centre (includes entrance hall area, Milbi Café and gift shop) is free and does not require a booking.

Daytime access to Turtle Tales Immersive Experience within the Turtle Centre includes interactive displays and theatre. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Mon Repos Turtle Centre. An admission fee applies (closed 25 December and 25 April). 

All visitors, including children and babies, must have a ticket booked in their name.

Daytime Turtle Tracks and Tales Ranger-guided walks leave from the Turtle Centre. Explore the conservation park with a Ranger guide and learn about turtle conservation and research, turtle tracks and nesting sites. This experience is offered year-round on a weekday, with additional walks during school holidays (closed 25 December and 25 April). 

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Mon Repos Turtle Centre and ticket fees apply. Children under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Visiting during school holidays? 

Book your child into the Mon Repos Junior Ranger program to join other Junior Rangers and explore the conservation park and its wild features. Children will become turtle researchers as they learn all about marine turtles. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Mon Repos Turtle Centre.

Nightly opening hours during turtle season: from 6 pm until late, 7 days a week. 

Night access is only permitted for Turtle Encounter tour participants. 

Do not book Turtle Tales Immersive Experience tickets when you are visiting at night as a Turtle Encounter tour participant—your purchased Turtle Encounter tickets include access to these areas as part of your tour experience.
